Over the years
Sunflower Preschool was established in September 2001 in a small housing in Bintaro Sector 5 with 5 children and 2 teachers
Since its opening, the school’s dynamic educational environment has continued to evolve. Soon after school began, word started to spread. In just one year, enrolment doubled.
As the school continued to expand, another major building project in current address was undertaken in 2009 with the creation of a new three-story building, housing classrooms, two Montessori classrooms, a multi-purpose hall and a backyard and covered areas for playing.
To this day, Sunflower Preschool can proudly claim to be the biggest preschool by area in Bintaro with 2,200 square meters having around 420 children in 17 classes. It is a wonderful testament of the commitment of the school.
Throughout our history, the school management has remained committed to creating an environment in which students are known, challenged and encouraged to grow.

On behalf of the entire teachers and staff, I hope that you have enjoyed a restful and relaxing school holiday! It is my pleasure to welcome new and returning families to a great new school year at Sunflower Preschool. All the teachers are thrilled to have students physically back in their classrooms. Everyone at school also eagerly awaits to witness their laughter, energy, and enthusiasm for learning.
Starting the school year with a ‘Community Heroes’ theme is a positive way to engage our young learners. These theme activities and lessons encourage preschoolers to think more closely and appreciate all of the people in their community who work to keep them safe, healthy, well-fed, and educated!
